Dr. Nebiye Yaşar, Chairman of the Board of Üsküdar University Young Brains Academy Application and Research Center (GBA), and Dr. Ayhan Özşahin, Lecturer and Head of the Family Medicine Department at the Faculty of Medicine, provided training to middle school students on the theme of 'Decent Work and Economic Growth' through the 'Ambassadors of a Sustainable World' project, supported by TÜBİTAK.

Fifth and sixth-grade students studying at Science and Art Centers in Istanbul were guests at the event organized within the scope of the 'Ambassadors of a Sustainable World' project, which is supported by TÜBİTAK under its 4004-Nature Education and Science Schools call and undertaken by Üsküdar Ahmet Yüksel Özemre Science and Art Center.
In the project, which Dr. Nebiye Yaşar and Dr. Ayhan Özşahin from Üsküdar University participated in with the 'Wonder, Learn, Apply' activity, students from the Faculty of Medicine mentored middle school students. Within the scope of the project, students also learned while having fun by designing T-shirts in line with the 'Decent Work and Economic Growth' theme, one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the project hosted 15 different events over five days. In the event, with the participation of Üsküdar University faculty members and Faculty of Medicine students, the continuation of living life was explained to middle school students through projects and activities.
As Ambassadors of a Sustainable World, the project emphasized the importance of the continuity of natural resources and featured events that raised awareness about basic life and decision-making skills in many areas, from fashion to music, sports to urbanization.
