Students of Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine Metaverse and Entrepreneurship Club participated in Teknofest with the 'META-TIP' project. Within the scope of the project, which scored 89.5 points at Teknofest and became one of the finalists, Project Software Development Manager Emre Kaan Şanverdi provided 3D printer training to 25 medical students, and these students had the opportunity to produce organ prints by realizing three-dimensional organ designs.
The 6th TEKNOFEST, organized with the partnership of many organizations playing a critical role in the development of national technology in Turkey, and led by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, continues on its second day at Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
Students of Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine Metaverse and Entrepreneurship Club, who participated in Teknofest with the 'META-TIP' project, made a presentation about the project being carried out. Participants were informed within the scope of the project, which attracted considerable interest.

3D organs and organ systems training provided
Within the scope of the META-TIP project, which scored 89.5 points at Teknofest and took its place among the finalists, real organs were 3D scanned and digitized, then made curriculum-compatible using VR glasses, to enable students and researchers, especially those in medical faculties, to receive better education. Project Software Development Manager Emre Kaan Şanverdi, as the Metaverse and Entrepreneurship Club, provided training on 3D organs and organ systems to a group of 25 students from Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine. The students received 3D printer training and produced organ prints by realizing three-dimensional organ designs.
The project team, carried out under the mentorship of Dr. Cihan Taştan and Dr. Nebiye Yaşar from Üsküdar University, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, includes Project Captain Intern Dr. Mustafa Şanverdi from Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine, Emre Kaan Şanverdi, Computer Engineering student at Üsküdar University and Founding President of the Metaverse and Entrepreneurship Club, Doğasav Sümer, Molecular Biology and Genetics (MBG) Department student at İnönü University, Mert Güngör, Molecular Biology and Genetics (MBG) Department student at İnönü University, and Mahmut Onat Özten, Molecular Biology and Genetics (MBG) Department student at İnönü University.
Teknofest will continue between April 27 and May 1.
