Üsküdar University strengthened international collaborations at NAFSA 2026

Üsküdar University participated in one of the most prestigious fairs in the field of international higher education, the “NAFSA 2026 Annual Conference & Expo.” At the organization held in Orlando, United States, the university delegation met with higher education institutions and educational organizations from different countries to hold discussions on developing existing collaborations and establishing new partnerships. In line with its internationalization goals, Üsküdar University made active contacts at the fair, evaluating new cooperation opportunities in Erasmus mobilities, academic partnerships, and joint projects, thereby further strengthening its global academic network. 

Üsküdar University once again demonstrated its effectiveness in the global higher education network by participating in the NAFSA 2026 Annual Conference & Expo, one of the most prestigious organizations in the field of international higher education.

International education professionals and sector representatives came together

The fair, held in Orlando, United States, between May 26-29, 2026, brought together higher education institutions, international education professionals, and sector representatives from all over the world.

Discussions were held for the establishment of new partnerships

At the fair, Üsküdar University was represented by Board of Trustees Chairman Ahmet Furkan Tarhan, Head of International Relations Department Peyman Jaferi, and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Gürkan Dinçer. Within the scope of the event, the university delegation met with universities and educational organizations from different countries to hold discussions on developing existing collaborations and establishing new partnerships. 

Üsküdar University further strengthened its cooperation network

NAFSA 2026, organized this year with the theme “Global by Design,” hosted important contacts in the fields of internationalization in higher education, academic collaborations, and global education strategies. Üsküdar University had the opportunity to increase its international academic visibility and further strengthen its cooperation network through the bilateral meetings it held and the new connections it established.

Positioning internationalization among its strategic priorities, Üsküdar University evaluated new cooperation opportunities in Erasmus mobilities, academic partnerships, and joint projects through the contacts it made within the scope of NAFSA 2026. 

Üsküdar University continues its efforts to develop collaborations in education and research on a global scale within this context.
