Üsküdar University researchers continue to carry out important studies. In this context, Üsküdar University's TÜBİTAK 1002-C Natural Disasters Focused Field Study Emergency Support Program project titled “Investigating the Resources, Potentials, and Impact of Spontaneously Developed Volunteerism After Disasters” was accepted by TÜBİTAK. The project is coordinated by Assistant Professor Dr. Melike Boztilki from Üsküdar University Health Sciences Social Work department.

The project team includes Prof. Dr. İsmail Barış, Head of the Social Work Department at Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences and Advisor to the Rector; Assistant Professor Dr. Gamze Kağan, Head of the Occupational Health and Safety Department Program at Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services; Research Assistant Dr. Meryem Küçük and Dr. Çağlar Yıldırım from Sakarya University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Sociology.
