Applications for the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE - Erasmus Charter for Higher Education) covering the years 2021-2027 have been announced. Üsküdar Üniversitesi was awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) by the European Commission, scoring 100 out of 100.

In a statement, International Relations Director and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Emre Üçsular said: "As Üsküdar University, we have collaborations with nearly 500 departments in more than 100 universities. Üsküdar University, which is the university with the most Erasmus agreements in psychology in Turkey, has Erasmus agreements with many universities and departments in Europe, thanks to an education program developed based on the Bologna process. Furthermore, extensive international education opportunities are offered to students through bilateral cooperation agreements made with prestigious universities in various countries around the world."

The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) provides a general quality framework for the international cooperation activities that a higher education institution can carry out under the Erasmus+ program. The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education award is a prerequisite for all higher education institutions located in a program country and wishing to participate in any of Erasmus+'s three key activities.
