Üsküdar University ranks third among foundation universities in KA171 Erasmus+ Project!

Üsküdar University achieved significant success in the 2026 project results within the scope of the “KA171 Erasmus+ Learning Mobility of Individuals Project” conducted by the European Union and the Turkish National Agency. Ranking 25th among universities across Turkey, Üsküdar University maintained its third place among foundation universities, also improving its overall ranking in Turkey compared to the previous year. Furthermore, Üsküdar University qualified for support for international mobilities to be carried out with 12 countries from 5 different regions within the scope of the project.

Üsküdar University achieved significant success within the KA171 Erasmus+ Learning Mobility of Individuals Project through its efforts in line with its internationalization vision.

According to the 2026 KA171 Erasmus+ project results, conducted by the European Union and the Turkish National Agency, Üsküdar University ranked 25th among universities across Turkey. The university maintained its third place among foundation universities, also improving its overall ranking in Turkey compared to the previous year.

This achievement serves as an important indicator of Üsküdar University's efforts to develop international academic collaborations and provide its students and staff with education and professional development opportunities in various geographies.

International Collaborations Aim to Be Strengthened

The KA171 Erasmus+ Learning Mobility of Individuals Project aims to strengthen international collaborations in the field of higher education between program countries and partner countries, and to increase international mobility opportunities for students and staff.

Üsküdar University also aims to contribute to its students, as well as its academic and administrative staff, gaining education, training, and professional development experiences in different countries with the support it has received within the project.

International mobility with 12 countries from 5 different regions...

Üsküdar University qualified for support for international mobilities to be carried out with 12 countries from 5 different regions within the scope of the 2026 KA171 Erasmus+ Project.

The countries to be collaborated with within the project include Hong Kong, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Tunisia, Jordan, South Africa, Nigeria, and Somalia.

The collaborations to be developed with higher education institutions in different geographies are aimed to contribute to Üsküdar University's further expansion of its international academic network.

New international opportunities for students and staff

The mobilities to be carried out within the KA171 Erasmus+ Project are aimed to offer Üsküdar University students, as well as academic and administrative staff, the opportunity to gain education, training, and professional development experiences in different countries.

The interaction to be established with different cultures and academic environments is expected to strengthen the international experiences of the participants, as well as contribute to the university's global academic collaborations.

Internationalization vision continues to strengthen

This success achieved by Üsküdar University within the 2026 KA171 Erasmus+ Project is considered an important indicator of the university's ongoing efforts in line with its internationalization vision.

Maintaining its third place among foundation universities and improving its overall ranking in Turkey, Üsküdar University continues to develop academic collaborations on a global scale and offer new international experience opportunities to its students and staff.
