Following the catastrophe of the century, centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6th, which caused devastating results in 11 provinces, Üsküdar University, continuing its support and efforts for the region, this time came together to provide educational material support to early childhood education institutions in need within the earthquake zone. Early childhood education materials designed within the scope of Üsküdar University SHMYO Child Development Program's 2022-2023 spring semester courses were sent to schools in need with the transportation support of Beykoz Municipality.
Early childhood education materials designed within the scope of spring semester courses
Following the earthquake disaster centered in Kahramanmaraş, early childhood education materials were designed within the scope of 2022-2023 spring semester courses under the consultancy of Üsküdar University SHMYO Child Development Program Lecturers Ezgi Ercihan, Kudret Deniz Kalaycı, and Müge Çolakoğlu Özer.
Materials exhibited in the Bazaar Campus lobby area
The educational materials designed to provide support to early childhood education institutions in need in the earthquake region were exhibited in the Bazaar Campus lobby area after the end of the semester.
Following the exhibition of the materials, they were delivered to the MEB-affiliated 75th Year Kindergarten and other needy schools in Kırıkhan, Hatay, an earthquake-affected region, with the transportation support of Beykoz Municipality.
The lecturers of Üsküdar University SHMYO Child Development Program extended their thanks to the Üsküdar University SHMYO Directorate for their support in the process, to the employees of Beykoz Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Directorate, to Hatay Kırıkhan MEB Branch Manager Hasan Ay, and to MEB 75th Year School Principal Kemal Topçu.
