Üsküdar University, in line with its internationalization vision, participated in the Eurasia Higher Education Summit “EURIE 2026” and made significant contacts to strengthen global academic collaborations. The delegation representing the university at the summit met with international stakeholders and evaluated new collaborations to increase student and staff mobility. Within the scope of the discussions, concrete steps for developing Erasmus+ partnerships, updating existing agreements, and pursuing joint research projects came to the forefront, and the event proved to be a productive platform that enhanced Üsküdar University's visibility in the international academic arena. 

Üsküdar University participated in the Eurasia Higher Education Summit “EURIE 2026”, one of Türkiye's leading educational organizations, within the scope of its internationalization goals in higher education. 

The summit, held on April 7-9, offered significant opportunities to expand the university's global academic network and develop strategic collaborations.

High-level participation took place

Representing Üsküdar University at the summit held at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Congress and Exhibition Center were Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Secretary General Asil Barış Bağ, Head of International Relations Dr. Peyman Jaferi, and International Office representatives.

The stand attracted great interest

Üsküdar University's stand attracted great interest from participants. The summit started with the opening speech of the President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Prof. Erol Özvar.

International collaborations were discussed

During the meetings held throughout the summit, new mechanisms aimed at increasing student and staff mobility came to the forefront. In this context;
Contacts were established for new Erasmus+ partnerships with universities in Europe and different regions,

Existing collaborations were revised and strengthened in line with current needs,

Concrete steps were taken and new roadmaps were determined for joint research projects and exchange programs.

Contribution to the development of new collaborations was provided

EURIE 2026 solidified Üsküdar University's visibility in the field of international education, and proved to be a productive platform that contributed to the development of new collaborations on a global scale.
