Üsküdar University met with university candidates and their families at the 15th University Preference Fair organized by Education Institutions Equipment and Technologies (EKET) Exhibitions. Hundreds of candidates who visited the Üsküdar University stand for three days found answers to all their questions regarding the preference process by meeting one-on-one with academics and preference counselors.

Üsküdar University stand received intense interest this year as well

At the fair held at Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Center on July 24-25-26, the Üsküdar University stand received intense interest from visitors.

The fair was also attended by President of Üsküdar University Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Furkan Tarhan, Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Vice Rector Prof. Sevil Atasoy, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Deniz Ülke Kaynak, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Prof. Osman Çerezci, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Haydar Sur, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Gül Esra Atalay, Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Ergün Yücel, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services Asst. Prof. Ömer Faruk Karasakal, and other academics.

At the fair, Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör met with university candidates and their families and chatted about the preference process. 

One-on-one counseling support was provided for the preference process

Candidates who visited the Üsküdar University stand throughout the fair had the opportunity to receive direct information from academics regarding the faculties and departments they were interested in. Preference counselors, on the other hand, guided students through their preference processes in line with their scores, success rankings, and career goals.

Educational opportunities and career prospects were introduced

Üsküdar University academics and preference counselors shared detailed information with candidates regarding faculties, departments, the applied education model, laboratory facilities, internship opportunities, scholarship options, double major and minor programs, and international exchange opportunities.

Visitors also had the opportunity to ask their questions one-on-one regarding campus life, student clubs, social and cultural activities, and post-graduation career opportunities.

Hundreds of candidates were hosted for three days

Throughout the three-day fair, hundreds of university candidates and parents were hosted at the Üsküdar University stand. 

With one-on-one meetings conducted by academics and preference counselors, information was provided that would contribute to the candidates' preference process. The Üsküdar University stand, which received intense interest for three days, was among the most visited stands by university candidates and their families, and the meetings held significantly contributed to the preference process.
