Under the leadership of Üsküdar University Corporate Communications Department and Erasmus Office, the Erasmus+ KA122 VET project, carried out by Pendik Yunus Emre Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, provided Laboratory Technician students from Croatia with the opportunity to undertake a short-term internship at Üsküdar University between May 2nd and May 10th.
Students, who reinforced their theoretical knowledge by conducting practical studies in the laboratories of Üsküdar University within the scope of ERASMUS, also had the opportunity to learn about different cultures. The project also enabled teachers to undertake short-term internships, helping them to follow innovations in vocational and technical education. Such collaborative projects provide invaluable experiences for both students and teachers, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in vocational and technical education.

At the end of their internships, certificates were presented to the students and teachers from Croatia by Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk.
7 students and 2 teachers who came for the internship gained experience in SHMYO laboratories. Students who interned for 8 days within the scope of the internship received direct instruction from academics working at SHMYO.
The laboratories where the guest students received training and the names of the relevant instructors who provided education during the internship are as follows:

Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Karasakal, Lecturer Tuğçe Soylamış, Lecturer Songül Türk Aydın, Lecturer Ayşe Bağlı, Lecturer Recep Yılmaz, Lecturer Kübra Akkalay, Lecturer Büşra Ecem Kumru, Lecturer İnci Karakaş, Lecturer Meliha Aksu and Lecturer Gönül Kil Tetik provided training to the students in their respective fields in the laboratories.
