Khankendi, the historical city of Azerbaijan, hosted one of the most comprehensive academic organizations held after the Karabakh Victory. Organized in collaboration with Üsküdar University and Karabakh University, the '13th Eurasian International Medical Congress' and the '1st International Khankendi Psychology Symposium' brought together the scientific accumulation of the Turkic world under one roof. Under the presidency of Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, President of Üsküdar University, Prof. Hikmet Koçak, Prof. Haydar Sur, Prof. Reşat Öngören, and Prof. Mevlüt Sait Keleş added academic depth to the congress with their presentations.

Science and Wisdom Meeting in Khankendi

With the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and hosted by Karabakh University, the symposium, organized with the theme 'Human and Psychology from Past to Future,' was not only an academic event but also a bridge of heart and knowledge built between two brotherly countries.

The delegation led by Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, President of Üsküdar University, presented a vision of the future in many fields, from medicine to history, psychology to health management.

Prof. Nevzat Tarhan: "The Synthesis of Reason and Revelation is Being Re-established"

One of the most remarkable speeches of the symposium was delivered by Prof. Nevzat Tarhan. Tarhan focused on the codes for the resurgence of our civilization's geography. Emphasizing that the 'golden age' of Islamic civilization featured a synthesis of reason and revelation, Tarhan reminded that science stagnated with the loss of this balance. Tarhan stated, "Today, the sharing of medical experiences and contributions to literature by Turkic states is the greatest proof that this synthesis is being re-established."

The Future of Health and Ottoman Medicine

Prominent figures from Üsküdar University enhanced the academic depth of the congress with their presentations:

In this context, Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Hikmet Koçak emphasized the importance of academic integration by focusing on "Cooperation Opportunities Among the Region's Medical Universities."

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Haydar Sur, with his presentation titled "The Future of Healthcare Services and Systems in the 21st Century," offered striking projections on health management in a digitalizing world.

Prof. Reşat Öngören from the Institute of Sufi Studies addressed the topic of "The Inclusion of Esoteric Sciences in Ottoman Medicine," sharing important information about the roots of our medical history.

Faculty Member of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Mevlüt Sait Keleş, with his technical presentation titled "Markers Guiding the Decision-Making Process in Gastrointestinal Surgery," conveyed the latest developments in surgical science.

Rectors' Roundtable: Common Academic Future

The 'University Rectors' Roundtable' session, held within the scope of the congress, transformed into a strategic cooperation platform.

In the session featuring Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and Prof. Hikmet Koçak from Üsküdar University, concrete cooperation models were agreed upon for transferring Üsküdar University's 25 years of experience in behavioral sciences and neurotechnology to Karabakh University and Azerbaijan in general.

Scientific Message from Karabakh to the World

This torch of science lit in Khankendi was an announcement that Karabakh would not only be a land of victory but also a rising center of science and education. The Üsküdar University delegation, meeting with their Azerbaijani colleagues and students, reiterated their determination to build a common academic future.
