Üsküdar University is now part of the European Student Card System

Üsküdar University has synchronized its student affairs automation system with the European Student Card (ESC) system, making student identity verification digital and secure. Taking an important step in line with the digital transformation goals of the Erasmus+ program, Üsküdar University’s application to the European Student Card (ESC) system has been approved. From now on, students will be able to verify their identities easily and securely at universities across Europe using a unique QR code generated specifically for them.

Within this process, Üsküdar University completed the necessary technical preparations and submitted its application to the ESC system. Following the acceptance of the application, tests confirmed that personalized QR codes were successfully generated for each student.

A more digital, secure, and practical experience in Europe

To ensure the system operates efficiently, Üsküdar University will synchronize its student affairs automation with the ESC system. In this way, students’ basic information such as student number, name, academic level, email address, and profile photo will be updated regularly. Thanks to this data, students will be able to verify their identities easily and securely at universities across Europe.

With this innovation, Üsküdar University students will have the opportunity to enjoy a more digital, secure, and practical experience at European institutions during their Erasmus+ mobility periods.

In the new period of the Erasmus+ program, digitalization is among the priority areas. Within this scope, the European Student Card Initiative enables students to quickly and securely verify their student status digitally across Europe.
