The workshop, which focused on the steps to follow for publishing in international journals, was held for academics, doctoral students, master's students, and undergraduate students planning an academic career.

Addressing the essential qualities required for a proper article publication, Şencanlı stated; "To write a good article, it is necessary to increase readability and be an effective communicator. If I emphasize the importance of being an effective communicator, everything you don't explain simply will somehow get tangled in your life. I would like to remind you of Einstein's words, 'If you cannot explain it simply, you do not understand it well enough.'"
