A delegation from International Turan University, one of Uzbekistan’s leading higher education institutions, visited Uskudar University. The visit, hosted by the Department of International Relations Erasmus+ Coordination Office, aimed to develop academic and scientific collaborations between the two universities. Presentations and meetings were held within this scope. The presentations covered the academic structures, educational opportunities, and internationalization goals of the universities.
The delegation, led by Prof. Madina Abdrashitova, Head of International Relations, was hosted at Uskudar University's Central Campus. The delegation was welcomed by the Uskudar University Erasmus+ Coordination team during the visit.
Academic and scientific collaborations to be developed
During the meeting held within the scope of the visit, mutual presentations were made focusing on the development of academic and scientific collaborations between the two universities. The presentations covered the academic structures, educational opportunities, and internationalization visions of the universities.
Within the scope of the program, Uskudar University was introduced to students from International Turan University.
A lecture was given to communication students
Additionally, a lecture was given to students studying in the field of communication sciences by Dr. Maria Pia Ester Cristaldi, Faculty Member of the New Media and Communication Department, Faculty of Communication. This lecture aimed for students to gain familiarity with the university and its academic structure.
Joint projects are on the agenda…
One of the important agenda items of the meeting was international mobility.
During the discussions, collaboration opportunities with International Turan University were evaluated, including joint project writing, student and staff exchange programs, and potential collaborations within the scope of Erasmus+. Additionally, an informative presentation was given regarding Uskudar University's academic infrastructure and the opportunities it offers.
With this visit, a significant step was taken towards strengthening academic and cultural collaborations between Uskudar University and International Turan University.
