Üsküdar University Expands Collaborations with Provincial Directorates of National Education

Üsküdar University continues to take significant steps toward broadening the boundaries of education. The Corporate Communication Department’s Educational Institutions and Guidance Services Unit held meetings with the Provincial Directorates of National Education in Bursa, Yalova, and Sakarya. These discussions included preliminary evaluations of Üsküdar University's annual Science and Idea Festival, which will celebrate its 10th edition this year.

Visits to Bursa, Yalova, and Sakarya Provincial Directorates of National Education

Üsküdar University's Corporate Communication Department Manager of Educational Institutions and Guidance Services, Specialist Psychological Counselor Özgür Akoğlan, and Education Specialist Canan Ekmekçioğlu met with Bursa Provincial Director of National Education Dr. Ahmet Alireisoğlu, Yalova Provincial Director Halil İbrahim Akmeşe, and Sakarya Provincial Director Coşkun Bakırtaş.

Preliminary Meetings on the Science and Idea Festival

During the meetings, potential collaborations and projects between educational institutions were discussed. Preliminary evaluations of Üsküdar University's annual Science and Idea Festival were conducted, along with assessments of cooperation protocols.

The discussions also explored the goal of extending the Science and Idea Festival to provinces outside Istanbul. Additionally, the protocol included plans for seminars and panels to be delivered by university academics.

Protocols Shared Digitally

It was noted that plans currently include four provinces: Yalova, Sakarya, Bursa, and Kocaeli. The protocols were also shared digitally with these provinces’ Directorates of National Education for their review and feedback.
