Üsküdar University, as part of its 2024-2025 Academic Year academic board meetings, most recently held the Academic Board meetings for the Institute of Science, Institute of Health Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, and Institute of Sufi Studies.

The board meeting, held at the Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall in the Central Campus, was attended by Üsküdar University Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, Institute of Science Director Prof. Dr. Mesut Karahan, Vice Rector and Institute of Health Sciences Director Prof. Dr. Türker Tekin Ergüzel, Institute of Social Sciences Director Prof. Dr. Gökben Hızlı Sayar, and Institute of Sufi Studies Director Prof. Dr. Elif Erhan, along with academic and administrative staff members.
During the meeting, academic studies and the steps to be taken to enhance these studies were discussed.
Strengths and Weaknesses of the Institutes Were Emphasized
At the Academic Board meeting, the Institute of Science presented first. Prof. Dr. Mesut Karahan, Director of the Institute of Science, addressed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in his presentation.
The presentation for the Institute of Health Sciences was given by Vice Rector and Institute of Health Sciences Director Prof. Dr. Türker Tekin Ergüzel. Ergüzel highlighted notable statistics in his presentation.
The presentation for the Institute of Social Sciences was given by Institute of Social Sciences Director Prof. Dr. Gökben Hızlı Sayar. Sayar focused on the institute's strengths, areas for development, threats, and opportunities.
The presentation for the Institute of Sufi Studies was given by Institute of Sufi Studies Director Prof. Dr. Elif Erhan. Erhan drew attention to the institute's activities and student numbers.
The Academic Board meeting concluded after a Q&A and contribution session, followed by a group photo.
