Students of Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication achieved success in the “Future Communicators Competition”, organized for the eighth time this year by the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), winning one first place and one second place award.

With their projects carried out during the 2021-2022 academic year, students participating in the TRT Future Communicators Competition competed in four main categories. The works competing in the categories of “Radio Broadcasting”, “Visual Broadcasting”, “Digital Broadcasting”, and “Communication Campaign” were announced in September as a result of evaluations made by the Selection Committee. According to the results announced at the awards ceremony, Üsküdar Communication received one first place and one second place award.
First place in the Podcast category, second place in the website category for Üsküdar
In the Podcast Branch of the Digital Broadcasting Category, Salih Doğan and Eylül Oruç from the Radio, Television and Cinema Department of Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication won the first-place award with their project titled ‘Bir Kuple Rock’, advised by Dr. Lecturer Hale Yaylalı.
In the Website Branch of the Digital Broadcasting Category, Zeynep Şahin, a student from the Faculty of Communication's Public Relations Department, along with Gizem Altın and Hayrunnisa Arıcı, students from the Faculty of Health Sciences' Audiology Department, won the second-place award with their project titled ‘Duymazdan Gelme’, prepared under the advisement of Dr. Lecturer Nihal Toros Ntapiapis and Dr. Lecturer Didem Şahin Ceylan.
19 Universities Also Won Awards in the Competition!
In the TRT Future Communicators Competition, in addition to Üsküdar University students, students from Anadolu University, Ankara University, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Bandırma Onyedi Mayıs University, Dokuz Eylül University, Düzce University, Erciyes University, Gümüşhane University, Hacettepe University, Hasan Kalyoncu University, Kyrgyzstan Manas University, Marmara University, Necmettin Erbakan University, Istanbul University, Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, İzmir Katip Çelebi University, Middle East Technical University, Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University, and Selçuk University also received awards.
