Double Holiday Enthusiasm at Üsküdar University!

The tradition of holiday greetings for the Üsküdar University and NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital family continued this year. Academic, specialist, and administrative staff participated in the 'Online Holiday Greeting' ceremony held with the attendance of Üsküdar University Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan. The Üsküdar University family shared the joy of Ramadan and April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day together in a digital environment.

The academic, specialist, and administrative staff of Üsküdar University and NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital experienced the double holiday excitement in advance. The interest in the online digital holiday greeting ceremony was quite high.

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan: “We are celebrating the holiday online this year as well”

Starting his speech by congratulating the entire Üsküdar family on the holiday, Üsküdar University Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan said; “I wish everyone a healthy, happy, and peaceful holiday with their loved ones. We are celebrating the holiday online this year as well. After the holiday, I wish everyone a successful academic year.”

Furkan Tarhan: “Our condolences to all of us once again”

Furkan Tarhan conveyed his good wishes at the ceremony, which was also attended by Üsküdar University Board of Trustees Chairman Furkan Tarhan and Foundation Board Member Fırat Tarhan. Tarhan said; “I sincerely congratulate all our students, the Üsküdar University family, the NP İstanbul Hospital team, as well as NP Etiler, NP Feneryolu Medical Center, and the staff of Üsküdar University Dental Hospital, which has recently joined our family, on their holiday. We have lost students and their families in the earthquake. We are saddened, we are heartbroken. Our condolences to all of us once again. Hopefully, we will celebrate many more holidays without experiencing disasters in the future.”

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zelka: “I wish that the joys we experienced in childhood continue to grow”

Mentioning that childhood joys come to mind when holidays are mentioned, former Rector of Üsküdar University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zelka said; “When we talk about holidays, especially the excitements and joys of our childhood come to mind. I wish that the excitements and joys we experienced in childhood continue to grow. With the hope that this holiday will lead to many more holidays in happiness and peace, I wholeheartedly congratulate everyone on their holiday.”

Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör: “May this double holiday be a symbol of our nation's integrity and unity”

Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, on the other hand, drew attention to the double holiday happiness being experienced. Güngör said, “I would like to start by thanking Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan and our former Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zelka. I sincerely congratulate all of you on Eid al-Fitr (Ramazan Bayramı) and April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which is the founding day of our Republic's first parliament. May this double holiday be a symbol of our, our country's, and our nation's integrity and unity.”

Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy: “May we celebrate many more holidays, inshallah”

Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy also expressed her holiday excitement and happiness. Atasoy said; “I wish the blessed Eid al-Fitr (Ramazan Bayramı) brings happiness, peace, and prosperity to you and your loved ones. May we celebrate many more holidays, inshallah.”

Prof. Dr. Hikmet Koçak: “I see Ramadan as a period that unites our people”

Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hikmet Koçak shared his holiday wishes. Koçak said; “I would like to state that after this period of disaster our country has gone through, I see Ramadan as a period that unites our people. I congratulate both our citizens there and our members on their holiday.” 

Everyone who spoke at the holiday greeting ceremony, which saw strong participation from deans, vice deans, institute directors, and academic and administrative staff, shared their holiday wishes.
