Üsküdar Üniversitesi's first project of the Social Innovation Projects Working Group, chaired by Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, the Business Life Module of the 'Z+ Generation at University' Project, will be realized in cooperation with GENAR and BOSİAD.
Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan and the 'Z+ Generation at University' project, the Z Assembly Directive and Z Plan Activity Calendar were prepared within the scope of the Business Life Module, in cooperation with Project Coordinator Asst. Prof. Aylin Tutgun Ünal, Project Consultant Dr. Nebiye Yaşar, GENAR Research Company Chairman Mustafa Şen, BOSİAD Board Chairman Rasim Çağan, BOSİAD Board Member Özgür Şahin, BOSİAD Management Assistant Güzin Özdemir, and BOSİAD Press Consultant Elif Sezgin.
The results of the first research, which will be conducted by the 'Z+ Generation at University' Project Coordinator Asst. Prof. Aylin Tutgun Ünal through the application of Social Media Generations Scales for employers and working Zs in the Bursa Organized Industrial Zone, will be shared with the public in cooperation with BOSİAD, GENAR, and Üsküdar Üniversitesi.
Asst. Prof. Aylin Tutgun Ünal: “We aim to understand generations in business life”
Project Coordinator Asst. Prof. Aylin Tutgun Ünal said, “One of the goals of our 'Z+ Generation at University' project is to understand the generations in business life. We want to create an important database for Generation Z by applying the XYZ generation differences scale, which we will develop within the scope of our project, to all working generations in business life, an area where generational differences are most clearly felt.”
Dr. Nebiye Yaşar: “An important project for Generation Z's future business lives”
Project Consultant Dr. Nebiye Yaşar said, “The most beautiful answer to the question of how we want to see Generation Z youth in the future, who will form the managing, working, and producing segments of the 21st Century and will play an important role in its development and construction, will be found in this project. When approached with tolerance, Generation Z can add value to their environments and positively change the dynamics of business life and society. Educators, managers, and others, in particular, need to develop strategies for this generation to work harmoniously with others. This development is important for the advancement of Generation Z individuals in their future lives. The Z Assembly Directive was aimed at achieving a balance between other generations and the new generation, and to meet on common values. In this context; the project is of great importance for our society.”
Mustafa Şen: “Youth research is important”
GENAR Research Company Chairman Mustafa Şen expressed his satisfaction with GENAR's support for the project and stated, “Youth research is of great importance. In the upcoming research, the technological advancement and well-being dimension of families should be included in the measurements.”
Rasim Çağan: “The Z Report will be announced at the end of each year”
BOSİAD Chairman Rasim Çağan stated that experiences about Bursa industry will be transferred through the Z Assembly and production-oriented experiences will be provided, adding, “Local, national, and international industrialists, businessmen, and thought leaders will be positioned as speakers in workshops. The Z Assembly, after the workshops, will announce the Z Report at a press conference at the end of each year under the coordination of BOSİAD.”
Tahsin Aksu: “Positive steps towards Generation Z excite us”
Üsküdar Üniversitesi Corporate Communications Director Tahsin Aksu also stated that they were happy to collaborate with two esteemed institutions like BOSİAD and GENAR while implementing the 'Z+ Generation at University' project, saying, “Understanding Generation Z and guiding them correctly will also enable us to walk confidently into the future.
