Üsküdar University became a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU)!

Üsküdar University has become a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU), established in 1950 under the umbrella of UNESCO, bringing together approximately 600 higher education institutions from over 120 countries worldwide. The membership will increase Üsküdar University's visibility within the global higher education network while offering new opportunities for international academic collaborations, knowledge sharing, and joint projects.

Üsküdar University continues to strengthen its position in global higher education networks in line with its internationalization vision. In this context, the university has become a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU), which brings together higher education institutions worldwide. 

Established in 1950 under the umbrella of UNESCO, IAU supports cooperation and knowledge sharing among universities on global priorities such as internationalization in higher education, leadership, sustainable development, and digital transformation.

Üsküdar University's global higher education network is strengthening

IAU membership will contribute to Üsküdar University's increased visibility in international academic networks and its enhanced global collaboration capacity. With this membership, the university aims to follow developments and best practices in global higher education more closely, develop academic connections with higher education institutions in different countries, and create new opportunities for international partnerships.

IAU brings together approximately 600 higher education institutions from over 120 countries worldwide, offering its members the opportunity to interact with the global higher education community through international events, projects, publications, working groups, and academic networks.

The Rector of Üsküdar University, Prof. Nazife Güngör, stated that IAU membership is an important step for the university's global visibility and the development of international collaborations.
