2019-2020 academic year took place for the 4th time. Üsküdar University Vice President Prof. Mehmet Zelka and the academic team participated in the 2019-2020 Higher Education Academic Year Opening Ceremony with the attendance of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered the opening speech at the ceremony where two thousand individuals including the rectors, ambassadors and ministers were invited at the Presidential Complex Beştepe Nation Congress and Culture Center.
A large number of academics from higher education institutions across Turkey attended the ceremony. As part of Üsküdar University, Vice President Prof. Mehmet Zelka, Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Haydar Sur, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Dean Prof. Osman Çerezci as well as Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Şefik Dursun.
