A delegation from the University of Mataram (UNRAM) in Indonesia was hosted at Üsküdar University as part of cooperation talks. The team included MD Hamsu Kadriyan, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Mataram, Neurosurgery Specialist Rohadi M. Rosyidi, Head of Clinical Internship Ilsa Hunafi, and two Indonesian students from Üsküdar University. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk and his accompanying delegation welcomed the guests. The ongoing work between the two universities was discussed, and potential collaborations that could be established between the institutions were exchanged.
Steps Taken to Develop Relations Between the Two Universities
A delegation from the University of Mataram (UNRAM) was hosted at Üsküdar University. Representing UNRAM, MD Hamsu Kadriyan, Dean of UNRAM Faculty of Medicine, primarily; UNRAM Neurosurgery Specialist Rohadi M. Rosyidi, and UNRAM Head of Clinical Internship Ilsa Hunafi paid a visit.
Representing Üsküdar University, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk, Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Prof. Dr. Tunç Çatal, Head of the Department of Software Engineering Assoc. Prof. Dr. Türker Ergüzel, Dr. Lecturer Cihan Taştan from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, along with Sezen Kapoğlu, Exchange Programs Coordinator from the Head of International Relations Department, Yasemin Özbaş, Exchange Programs Specialist from the Head of International Relations Department, Pınar Dokgöz, Exchange Programs Assistant, and two Indonesian students attended the meeting.
Inter-University Cooperation Established
Potential collaborations that could be established between the delegation from the University of Mataram (UNRAM) in Indonesia and Üsküdar University were discussed. Following brief introductions of the universities at the meeting, attention was drawn to the work carried out in the faculties operating within the universities.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding between Üsküdar University and UNRAM and the presentation of gifts.
The delegation later toured Üsküdar University.
