The "2024 YÖKAK International Quality Assurance and Accreditation Conference" was organized by the Council of Higher Education Quality (YÖKAK). Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, along with her accompanying delegation including Rector Advisor Serdar Karagöz, attended the conference. This year, the main theme of the conference was "Developing and Internalizing Quality in Higher Education." In this context, it allowed for a significant step to be taken in higher education quality assurance and accreditation.
The conference, hosted by Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, brought together scientific developments, innovations, experiences, and different perspectives in the field of quality assurance in higher education.

YÖKAK President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak, emphasizing the importance of establishing quality assurance systems in universities, said that universities support digital transformation and that data tracking and analysis should be carried out effectively. Kocabıçak stated that they aim to increase the number of program accreditations in Turkey.
