While Turkey is experiencing the pain of two separate earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, Üsküdar University has launched an aid mobilization to heal the wounds, even if only slightly. The academic, administrative staff, and students of the Üsküdar family have been sending monetary and in-kind aid collected since the first day of the earthquake to the region. On the third day of the earthquake, they delivered 1000 boxes of essential supplies including food, clothing, hygiene products, blankets, medical supplies, and baby items to the region.
Turkey is trying to heal the wounds of the two earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş that struck 10 provinces.
For the earthquake that claimed thousands of lives and injured many, the Üsküdar University family also launched an aid mobilization.
Under the coordination of the Youth and Sports Ministry's Istanbul Provincial Representative, Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department Head Özcan Demir, and the Turkish University Sports Federation, Üsküdar University sent aid supplies consisting of 5 buses to the region within the first two days of the earthquake.
Members of Üsküdar University, who immediately organized and launched a full mobilization with their academic, administrative staff, and students from the first hours of the earthquake, deliver the materials they collect daily from the Central Campus to transfer points to be sent to the earthquake zones.

Üsküdar University Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan also monitors the efforts on-site from time to time.
Within this scope, Üsküdar University provided monetary and in-kind aid including:
- Blankets, duvets, pillows, bed sheets, sleeping bags,
- Diapers, baby bottles
- Baby food,
- Women's hygiene kits,
- Outerwear (Coats, beanies, boots, raincoats, scarves, shawls, hats, gloves),
- Clothing (Upper wear, lower wear, underwear),
- Cleaning and hygiene materials (Tissues, wet wipes, toothbrushes, towels, soap, etc.),
- Beverages (Water, fruit juice, milk),
- Basic food (Canned ready meals, pasta, dry legumes, biscuits, etc.),
- Footwear (Boots, winter boots, sports shoes),
- Socks, booties,
- Other Materials (Books, toys, batteries, pet food, etc.),
- Sent 1000 boxes consisting of medical supplies and medicine to the region.

Psychological Support Service...
On the other hand, the Psychological Counseling Unit within the SKS Department also provides psychological support services for students and employees affected by the earthquake disaster.
