Greeting the new academic year as of Monday, October 18, Üsküdar University established a Covid-19 Vaccination Center for its students and staff who wish to be vaccinated. Students and staff are showing great interest in vaccination at Üsküdar University, which launched the 'Let's Get Vaccinated' campaign with the Üsküdar District Governorate and Üsküdar District Health Directorate.
The vaccination drive, which began on the first day of the week at Üsküdar University Central Campus Block A, garnered significant interest from university students, as well as academic and administrative staff.
Students and staff can receive Sinovac or Biontech vaccines at the established Covid-19 vaccination center.
Furthermore, during the vaccination process, healthcare professionals are providing comprehensive information to students and staff regarding the disease and vaccines.
Vaccination was recommended…
The Üsküdar University Senate had issued a recommendation regarding vaccination with its decision, stating, “We strongly recommend that you get vaccinated to protect yourselves, your loved ones, and others around you, in compliance with the calls of our Ministry of Health. Developed in the light of science, vaccination efforts and immunization programs, which have been bringing us step by step closer to controlling the disease since their inception, are progressing in a gratifying manner. With the acceleration of vaccination in our country, a daily decrease in the number of cases is observed. We know that we have left the most difficult days behind. With our gradually easing restrictions and our vaccination program, we are now looking forward with hope and progressing towards our old days.”
