Within this scope, an academic partnership was established with SOAS GLOCAL, which operates under SOAS.

History Department Takes Its Place Among SOAS GLOCAL's Affiliate Partners
Within this scope, an academic partnership has been established between Üsküdar Üniversitesi History Department and SOAS GLOCAL (The Global Council for Anthropological Linguistics), which operates under SOAS and is an academic network in the international arena.
With the agreement, the History Department took its place among SOAS GLOCAL's affiliate partners.

What Does SOAS GLOCAL Do?
SOAS GLOCAL aims to bring together academics, researchers, and institutions working in the field of linguistic and cultural anthropology, to support interdisciplinary research aimed at understanding the relationship between culture and language, and to promote global collaborations in this area.
The organization also contributes to studies exploring the cultural, social, and political functions of language through conferences, publications, research projects, and academic networking events.
