Evaluated in 3 main categories

At the end of the statement, information regarding the methodology of the said ranking was also included. THE – Interdisciplinary Science Rankings evaluates universities based on their interdisciplinary research capacity across three main categories:

The methodology is summarized under three headings as follows:

Inputs (%19): Measures the resources institutions allocate to interdisciplinary research and their capacity to attract external funding.

Process (%16): Evaluates how research is institutionally supported through elements such as infrastructure, administrative support, and promotion policies.

Outputs (%65): Measures the quantity, quality, impact level, and global reputation of interdisciplinary publications produced, forming the most decisive part of the ranking. This tripartite structure provides a holistic evaluation of both resources, processes, and tangible research outputs.
