The Society for Brain Mapping and Therapeutics (SBMT), founded in 2013 and comprising distinguished researchers in the field of neuroscience, primarily from the USA, continues its global activities with the support of Üsküdar Üniversitesi and NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi. Üsküdar Üniversitesi became the only university representing our country at the G20 - Neuroscience20 (BRAIN- SPINE- MENTAL- HEALTH) conference, while Founding Rector and Chairman of the Executive Board Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan has been successfully representing our country for 10 years.
G20 Summit 2023 in New Delhi in September…
Üsküdar Üniversitesi, which hosted the 2nd G20 summit in 2015 and the ME+ (Middle East and neighboring countries) summits in 2022, will continue its regional and global collaborations, especially in the field of neuroscience, in New Delhi in September 2023. Our country will be represented at the summit by NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi and Üsküdar Üniversitesi Board Member M. Fırat Tarhan, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Türker Ergüzel, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan.

Memorandum of Understanding signed in Üsküdar in 2022…
A memorandum of understanding was signed at the Istanbul summit in 2022, hosted by Üsküdar Üniversitesi and led by Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, with the US, European, ME+, and Indonesian delegations of the N20 Initiative, regarding the acceleration and implementation of neuro-diagnostics and treatments through the transformation, sharing, integration, and commercialization of neurotechnologies, which can be achieved through an international partnership.
Üsküdar Üniversitesi, which healthily designs and builds the synthesis of health sciences, engineering, and social sciences, and trains young researchers through its associate, bachelor's, and graduate programs, hosts new-generation researchers with its research areas, laboratories, application and research centers, project-oriented curriculum, and neuroscience-focused studies.
