Üsküdar Üniversitesi, equipped with the principles of liberalism, pluralism, criticizability, and participation, has completed its new strategic plan targeting a 5-year period.
The plan, aiming to align the university's activities with the realities of society and the country and to transform knowledge into useful products, pursues the goal of making a difference through quality service delivery rather than a competitive approach.
Üsküdar Üniversitesi also focuses on elements such as improving quality, internationalization, and responding to social needs in its strategic plan.

Üsküdar Üniversitesi, a higher education institution that has determined its mission and vision in line with the principles of liberalism, pluralism, criticizability, and participation, taking into account the higher education quality assurance system, aims to use the university's resources with accurate and realistic planning according to needs, plan its fields of activity to align with the realities of society and the country, and transform produced knowledge into useful products, technology, and services in line with this understanding.
To achieve these goals as quickly as possible and with maximum efficiency, the plan adopts an autonomous university model that is globally entrepreneurial, competitive, and also interacts with stakeholders. In this new five-year period, the university's mission and vision, along with the foundational principles of pluralism, participation, liberalism, and criticizability, continue to be the basis.

The university's fields of activity are determined in line with these fundamental principles, mission, and vision, aiming for the effective use of resources, considering priorities, and developing accountability for the process.
According to the plan, Üsküdar Üniversitesi will strive to differentiate itself from other institutions (universities) in similar fields of activity. This effort aims to be a struggle for preference through more qualified service delivery, rather than a competitive or superiority-seeking approach.
Education will be guided in relation to society's ethical and moral values
In the university's strategic plan efforts, points such as continuous quality improvement, scientific production's ability to respond to social needs, guiding education in relation to society's ethical and moral values, accelerating the internationalization process, and ensuring the university's progress aligns with global trends are also taken into consideration.
The Üsküdar Üniversitesi 2024-2028 Strategic Plan preparation process was carried out in collaboration with the Strategy Development Coordinator, the General Secretariat, and the Department of Strategy Development, established under the chairmanship of the Rector within the scope of conducted search meetings.
The Strategy Development Coordinator, supported by all other academic and administrative unit managers within the university, prepared the Strategic Plan document.
