A 'Health, Culture and Sports (SKS) Department Heads Consultation Meeting' was held within the scope of the 'Ramadan Festivals' Project, planned to be implemented in universities by the Yeşilay within the framework of the '2026 Independence Year'. The Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department also participated in the meeting, which aimed to more strongly disseminate Yeşilay's protective and preventive approach on university campuses. In this context, opinions were shared on developing social, cultural, and protective activities for university youth.

The meeting, held in the Yeşilay Sultan Ibrahim Meeting Hall, was organized to share the scope and implementation principles of the Ramadan Festivals Program.

Sadık Paksoy, Head of Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports (SKS) Department, and Meliha Merve Günaltay, SKS Event Manager Assistant, attended the meeting. Also participating were the heads of Health, Culture and Sports Departments from various universities, along with academic advisors of Young Yeşilay Student Societies, led by the President of the Yeşilay, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Dinç.

'Ramadan Festivals' project  discussed

At the meeting, the content structure, implementation process in universities, and cooperation model of the Ramadan Festivals Project were discussed in detail. Opinions and suggestions regarding the process were evaluated during consultations held with the participation of Health, Culture and Sports Department Heads from universities and Academic Advisors of Young Yeşilay Student Societies.

The main objective of the project was emphasized as bringing youth together with the awareness of a good, healthy, and independent life, and strengthening the dissemination of Yeşilay's protective and preventive approach on university campuses.

Youth-focused contribution from Üsküdar University

Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department, participating in the meeting, contributed to the process by sharing its views on developing social, cultural, and protective activities for university youth. The importance of bringing events that reflect the spiritual atmosphere of the month of Ramadan to young people in universities was highlighted.

Yeşilay emphasizes strong cooperation with universities

It was stated that the meeting provided an important consultation ground for the dissemination of the Ramadan Festivals Program in universities, which reflects the spiritual climate of the month of Ramadan and focuses on protective and preventive activities for youth.

Protective and preventive approach spreading to universities

The consultation meeting is aimed at strengthening cooperation between universities and Yeşilay, expanding healthy lifestyle-focused initiatives for youth, and contributing to the implementation of joint projects in line with the 2026 Independence Year goals.
