Emre Kaan Şanverdi, a 3rd-year student of Computer Engineering at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, and Mustafa Şanverdi, a 6th-year student of Medicine at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Medicine, were accepted to the WISH 2024 (World Innovation Summit for Health) organization held in Qatar with their 'VR Glasses Surgical Practice Local Software Project' developed with TÜBİTAK support. This project enriches educational processes by offering virtual cadaver anatomy and surgical simulations to medical, pharmacy, and dentistry students using VR-AR-XR glasses technologies.

The closest experience to reality with simulations and VR glasses…

This project, offering unique opportunities in surgical planning and medical education for doctors, allows for importing patient data using digital twins and provides the opportunity for visualization, editing, and discussion in collaborative environments.

With simulations of complex surgical cases, the project stands out for offering the opportunity to experience critical surgeries as realistically as possible with VR glasses.

With this technology, students and healthcare professionals have the opportunity to develop their anatomy and surgical skills in high-fidelity virtual environments.

The Şanverdi siblings, who conducted their first experiments with sheep hearts and brains, are currently working on human surgeries.
