Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO) brought student representatives together with the Head of the Quality Commission to ensure a better understanding among students of the quality assurance system and the student-oriented education approach. Speaking at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mesut Karahan, Director of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO), emphasized the importance of mutual communication in the education and training process.

The meeting took place at the Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus Emir Nebi Conference Hall. Participants in the meeting included Prof. Dr. Mesut Karahan, Director of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO), Deputy Directors Dr. Lecturer Ömer Faruk Karasakal and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feride Kulalı Özdek, as well as other academicians and students.
During the meeting, quality processes and the student's role in these processes were discussed.

The Importance of Mutual Communication in the Education and Training Process
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mesut Karahan, Director of Üsküdar University SHMYO, drew attention to the importance of mutual communication in the education and training process. Stating that he found the participation of student representatives very valuable, Karahan thanked all participants who contributed to the meeting.

The “Plan-Do-Check-Act” Cycle Was Explained
Dr. Lecturer Öznur Karaoğlu, Head of the Quality Commission, discussed quality processes and the work carried out in detail in her presentation at the meeting. Explaining the “Plan-Do-Check-Act” cycle, Karaoğlu emphasized the significance of students' responsibilities and contributions in this process.
Students' Requests and Demands Will Be Thoroughly Evaluated
At the meeting, views and suggestions from student representatives were received regarding areas that need improvement at the institutional and program levels, as well as strengths. It was stated that students' demands and requests would be meticulously evaluated. A survey was conducted at the end of the meeting to analyze the impact of the decisions taken on the representatives.
Student-Centered Education Approach Is Developing
Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services aims to strengthen its student-centered education approach and contribute to the sustainability of the quality assurance system through such meetings.
