Solidarity Bazaar for Palestine from Üsküdar Residents

An “Aid Bazaar for Palestine” was organized by the Physiotherapy Program of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO) and the Physiotherapy Club, which operates under the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, to support Palestinian families and children. All proceeds from the bazaar were donated to Palestinian families and children in cooperation with the Yeryüzü Çocukları Association.

In the event held in the garden of the Çarşı Campus, students gathered to support Palestinian families and children.

Solidarity Call from Physiotherapy Students

Students contributed to the event to support Palestinian families and children going through difficult times and to foster solidarity.

In the organization of the bazaar, Physiotherapy Club Advisor, Head of Physiotherapy Program Asst. Prof. Esra Erğun Keşli, Physiotherapy Club President Barış Demir, Vice President Melike Nur Başaran, and Physiotherapy Program students worked together.

Bazaar Proceeds Donated to Palestinian Families and Children

All proceeds from the sales made within the scope of the event were donated to Palestinian families and children in cooperation with the Yeryüzü Çocukları Association.

The Physiotherapy Club, with the bazaar it organized, contributed to strengthening the culture of solidarity and cooperation among students, while also ensuring that the proceeds reached those in need.

“A Small Support Can Turn into a Great Good Deed”

In the evaluation made by the Physiotherapy Club regarding the event, the importance of solidarity was emphasized with the following statements:

“We are strengthening solidarity for our Palestinian siblings going through difficult times, coming together to share hope. A small support can turn into a smile; one step can turn into a great good deed.”

The event organized by Üsküdar University Physiotherapy Program and Physiotherapy Club was among the activities where students came together with a sense of social responsibility and contributed to solidarity.
