Since its establishment, Üsküdar University has emphasized the development of academic relations with independent Turkic Republics. In this context, relations with universities and academic institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, particularly in the field of social sciences, are gaining momentum day by day.
Postgraduate students from Lev Gumilyev Eurasian University, one of Kazakhstan's prominent universities and a successful entrant into the top 500 of the QS World University Rankings, are visiting Üsküdar University as part of their international internship program.
In this context, this year, Aigerim Ashimova, a doctoral student from the Sociology Department of Eurasian University, visited Üsküdar University and met with academics from the sociology department. Ashimova worked with Üsküdar academics on her thesis topic concerning violence against women.
Her co-advisor, Prof. Dr. Ebulfez Süleymanlı, a faculty member of the Sociology Department at Üsküdar University, presented the certificate to Ashimova, who completed her one-month academic study period at Üsküdar University and in Turkey.
