Üsküdar Hosted Erasmus Students from 14 Countries

Üsküdar Üniversitesi hosted 39 Erasmus students from 14 different countries in line with its internationalization vision. Within the scope of the Erasmus Orientation Week held between September 29 and October 3, various activities were organized to facilitate students' adaptation process and increase social interaction.

On the first day of the program for Erasmus students, an informative presentation was given with the participation of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör. 

Following this, integration activities and a campus tour allowed students to get to know the university closely.

Bosphorus Tour Attracted Great Interest

On the second day of the program, a guided tour of Üsküdar was organized. Students visited historical structures such as Kız Kulesi, Mihrimah Sultan Camii, Kuşkonmaz Camii, and Valide-i Cedid Camii. Exploring the natural beauties of Istanbul at Nakkaştepe Millet Bahçesi, students also participated in a Bosphorus tour organized with the contributions of Üsküdar Belediyesi.

Turkish Culture Introduced

On the fourth day of the week, a traditional Turkish breakfast event was organized at Üsküdar Belediyesi Nevmekan to enable students to get closely acquainted with Turkish culture. Later in the day, students attended an informative presentation on residence permit processes.

Fun Closing with a Karaoke Event

On the last day of the program, the karaoke event held at Güney Yerleşke Sokrates Salon contributed to students' integration with each other and their adaptation to Istanbul.

The activities organized throughout the week were met with great interest by the Erasmus students and concluded successfully.
