Üsküdar Üniversitesi Education Institutions and Guidance Services experts continue their face-to-face meetings with university candidates without slowing down, for university and department preferences. Üsküdar experts met with students from 3 different schools and ÜSMEK Trainees this week.
Campus visits by university candidates continue; this week, a general introductory presentation was given to the students of Sancaktepe Şehit Ömer Halis Demir Anatolian High School who came to Üsküdar Üniversitesi, Çarşı Campus, by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Corporate Communication Specialist Müge Alyu Yamaner. After the presentation, students were given detailed information about the academic staff, scholarship opportunities, Erasmus, double major, and minor possibilities.
Finally, students visited the Health Services Vocational School laboratories and study areas.
To the students of Gelenbevi Anatolian High School who came to the South Campus, a presentation on the English Translation and Interpreting department was given by Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Nafi Yalçın, Head of the English Translation and Interpreting Department.
Students Showed Great Interest in the TV Studio
Following the presentation, students attended an Introduction to Language lesson. Finally, students visited the Faculty of Communication TV studio, library, laboratories, study areas, and hobby areas located within the South Campus.
To the Üsküdar ÜSMEK trainees who came to the Çarşı Campus, a detailed department introductory presentation was given by Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Tuğba Kaman, Head of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Program.
After the presentation, detailed information was given to the trainees at the Herbarium. Finally, the trainees visited the Çarşı Campus's laboratories and study areas.

Meanwhile, a "Exam Anxiety and Motivation" seminar was given by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Corporate Communication Department, Education Institutions and Guidance Services, for the students of Bahçelievler Adnan Menderes Anatolian High School.
Specialist Psychologist and Counselor Ece Tözeniş offered suggestions to students on ways to cope with anxiety. Highlighting the importance of goal setting, Tözeniş also provided information for success in exams. Tözeniş explained the Pomodoro Technique under the topic of effective studying.
History of Epidemics…
As the last program of the week, a presentation on 'History of Epidemics and Prevention Methods' was given by Prof. Dr. Haydar Sur, Dean of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Medicine. The presentation concluded after students' questions were answered and a group photo was taken.
