Üsküdar Communication Reaches TRT Future Communicators Competition Final with 5 Projects!

Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication students, as every year, achieved significant success in the “TRT Future Communicators Competition” this year as well. In the competition where preliminary evaluation committees determined the top 10 projects in each category, Üsküdar Communicators qualified for the final with 5 projects in 2 categories.

Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication students achieved significant success this year as well in the “Future Communicators Competition,” organized for the 10th time by TRT. 

5 projects in 2 categories…

Üsküdar communicators passed the preliminary evaluation phase with 5 projects prepared in the “Internet Journalism” and “Digital Content Management” categories, qualifying for the final. The projects that made it to the final attracted attention with both their content and creative approaches.

In this context, in the Internet News category:

-Meryem Aydın from the Journalism department, “A Panel Emerged from Instagram Fortune-Telling” 

In the Digital Content Management category:
- Merve Kelpeten and Melike Yıldız Çölcü from the New Media and Communication department, “M2Medya” 
- Dilara Daruva, Beyza İnan, and Beyza Özdemir from the New Media and Communication department, “Cyber Reader” 
- Sude Lermioğlu from the Journalism department, “Being a Woman in Trabzon” 
- Zeynep Sarı, Taha Demirci, and Bahar Mutaf from the Advertising department, qualified for the final with the project “A Child Asked.”
Awards to be presented at a live ceremony
As a result of the preliminary evaluation committees' assessment, students who prepared the finalist projects will be hosted by TRT within the scope of “Future Communicators Week,” to be held between October 9-14, 2025. 
In the final of the competition, the first-place winner in each category will receive 100,000 TL, the second-place winner 75,000 TL, and the third-place winner 50,000 TL. Additionally, a TRT Special Award will be presented to one project. 
Students who place in the final will receive their awards at a ceremony to be broadcast live on TRT screens.
