Üsküdar Communication student Sena Şeyda placed third in TRT competition

Sena Şeyda, a student of Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication, Department of New Media and Communication, won third prize in the “Future Communicators Competition,” organized for the 12th time this year by TRT. Şeyda, who ranked in the Digital Publishing / Digital Product Development category with her project “Pinel-Accessible City Map,” offered a digital solution for accessible urban living with her project. The project's consultancy was undertaken by Research Asst. Semih Eken.  

Sena Şeyda, a student of Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication, Department of New Media and Communication, won third prize in the TRT Future Communicators Competition. 

The award ceremony for the competition, organized for the 12th time this year by TRT, was held at the Ankara Ministry of National Education Council Hall. 

At the ceremony broadcast live on TRT 2, Şeyda placed third in the Digital Publishing / Digital Product Development category with her project “Pinel-Accessible City Map.”

“Pinel-Accessible City Map” Brings Third Place

In the competition, student projects prepared in the fields of radio, news, visual and digital publishing, and communication campaigns were evaluated.

Sena Şeyda, competing in the Digital Publishing / Digital Product Development category, achieved third place with her project “Pinel-Accessible City Map.” The project's consultancy was carried out by Research Asst. Semih Eken from Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication, Department of New Media and Communication.

Final Success with 7 Projects from Üsküdar Communication

Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication students qualified for the finals of the TRT Future Communicators Competition's 2026 evaluations with 7 projects prepared in different fields. 

Students who advanced to the finals in the podcast, internet news, social media management, digital product development, and animation film categories participated in the competition with their prepared works.

Finalist Achievement Crowned with an Award

With Sena Şeyda, one of the finalists in the competition, winning the third-place award, Üsküdar Communication completed its finalist success achieved with 7 projects, with an award.
