Üsküdar Communication: Projects Leaving a Mark on Digital Art…

Research Assistant Simge Kırteke and Research Assistant Baran Kahraman from Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication, Visual Communication Design Department, participated as artists in the exhibition “From Sketch to Pixel Digital Art: Anatolia Edition”. The exhibition was organized by Ayyıldız Prodüksiyon in various provinces of Turkey within the scope of the Turkey Culture Road Festival by the T.R. Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Kırteke's work, titled “Digital Memorial Stamp,” and Kahraman's work, titled “Parametric Variables and Repetitions,” were featured in the exhibition.

The aim is to offer art lovers different experiences

The exhibition, held in the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Multi-Purpose Hall, stands out as a special art initiative taking place in different geographical regions of Turkey. Each edition aims to provide art lovers with different experiences by offering a dynamic platform where various artworks are brought together, differing from previous ones.

The variable roles in creative processes were emphasized

With his work titled “Parametric Variables and Repetitions,” Research Assistant Baran Kahraman emphasized that repetitions, rather than being identical, can differentiate and assume variable roles in creative processes.

The artwork was experienced with augmented reality technology

Research Assistant Simge Kırteke's work, titled “Digital Memorial Stamp,” allowed for the experience of digital stamps designed for the 16 provinces that the Culture Road Festival will visit, using augmented reality technology.
