Prof. Dr. İpek Fatma Çevik and Cartoon and Animation Department Research Assistant Onur Coşkun, will also be published on the 24 Kare website. The 24 Kare website, where student portfolios and exhibitions will be shared, will serve as an online platform where department students can showcase their own works by experiencing different stages in their production processes.

Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör; “I wish 24 Kare to be beneficial for our faculty and department.”
Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, Dean of the Faculty of Communication, who closely followed the creation process of the magazine and website, explained the importance of the work done for the students. Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör said; “Our Cartoon and Animation department holds great importance for the practical aspect of communication education. The fundamental characteristic of practical education is the emergence of tangible products during the training. In this sense, our 24 Kare Animation magazine is an important work and holds great significance in reflecting the mission and vision of the department. Such a platform where our students can exhibit their products is also crucial for their motivation. Furthermore, this work and publication produced by the department will be an important sharing platform for the department's recognition in relevant sectoral areas and for developing department-industry relations. It is also valuable as an academically significant medium for the animation field. Finally, I wish 24 Kare to be beneficial for our faculty and department.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. İpek Fatma Çevik; “Our students will have the chance to prepare experientially for professional life.”
Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. İpek Fatma Çevik, expressing her thanks for the support provided during the work, spoke about the benefits of the prepared magazine and website for the Cartoon and Animation department students. Assoc. Prof. Dr. İpek Fatma Çevik stated; “First of all, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, Dean of the Faculty of Communication, who supported us at all stages of the 24 Kare Cartoon Animation magazine, shared our excitement, and provided leadership; to Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Founding Rector of Üsküdar Üniversitesi, and the Board of Trustees of Üsküdar Üniversitesi, for their unwavering support. The magazine and website, which are the result of our students' collective work, will greatly facilitate the online presence of student works. Thanks to these two platforms, which will allow them to closely observe the production process, our students will also have the chance to prepare experientially for professional life. I also believe that both the magazine and the website will serve as a logbook for our students' university lives.”
Research Assistant Ezgi Şen; “By following trends and technologies, we aim to be pioneers in many areas.”
Research Assistant Ezgi Şen of the Cartoon and Animation Department, evaluating the goals of the 24 Kare Animation magazine and website, said; “Considering the rapidly increasing communication we establish through screens, being visible on online platforms has become very important. As the Cartoon and Animation department, we aim to be pioneers in many areas by following trends and technologies. 24 Kare Üsküdar invites not only our own students but also students from other universities and everyone interested in animation to the colorful world of animation by informing them.”
An issue every month…
Research Assistant Onur Coşkun of the Cartoon and Animation Department, who is responsible for transferring magazine contents to the website, tracking technical developments on the website, and ensuring student coordination regarding the content, stated; “In our age where digital communication has largely changed daily life practices, I think it is wonderful that our department students are included in the digital communication environment with a website entirely created by their own efforts. I witnessed firsthand how much effort they put into the magazine and website from day one, and their readiness for publication makes me as happy as them. Moreover, the sustainability of both the magazine and the website is paramount. Publishing an issue every month, updating the website according to the content of that issue, and adding new works to the created portfolios are extremely important for creating a living online platform. I would also like to thank the software team who never refused our students' requests regarding the website and always cooperated with us.”
