The family of Üsküdar University and NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital did not break its holiday greeting tradition. The holiday greeting ceremony was held online due to pandemic measures. Academic, specialist, and administrative staff participated in the 'Online Holiday Greeting' ceremony held with the attendance of Üsküdar University Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan. The Üsküdar University family shared the joy of the holiday in the digital environment.
Ramadan Eid enthusiasm at Üsküdar University!
The academic, specialist, and administrative staff of Üsküdar University and NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital experienced the holiday excitement in advance. There was intense interest in the digital holiday greeting ceremony held via Zoom.
Tarhan: “To many more holidays where we can exchange greetings from heart to heart, not just window to window.”
The ceremony began with a speech by Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan. Tarhan said; “I hope that the atmosphere of spiritual richness provided by Ramadan continues. Unfortunately, cultural transmission in our children is done by social media, not by family. For the beautiful effects of the holiday to continue and for it to be a true holiday, children need to be able to rejoice, the disadvantaged need to be happy, and they need to feel that they are a part of society. I extend my best wishes for the holiday to all my colleagues. I wish for beautiful days where we can come together heart-to-heart and exchange holiday greetings.”
In the ceremony, which was also attended by Üsküdar University Chairman of the Board of Trustees Furkan Tarhan and Foundation Board Member Fırat Tarhan, Furkan Tarhan extended his good wishes, saying, “Wishing everyone happy holidays with their loved ones, hoping to experience the blessings of Ramadan throughout the year.”
Üsküdar University Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zelka expressed his happiness that the Üsküdar University family continues its holiday greeting ceremony every holiday, stating; “Finding the opportunity to exchange holiday greetings after a beautiful month of Ramadan is a sign of happiness. Hopefully, in future holidays, we will also have face-to-face greetings. I wish everyone many healthy holidays.”
Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk also extended good wishes, saying, “I wish all our colleagues to have a holiday that tastes like a holiday.”
Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy also expressed the holiday excitement. Atasoy said; “I wish all members of our university to reach many more holidays with their families and loved ones.”
Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hikmet Koçak shared his holiday wishes. Koçak said; “I congratulate the Üsküdar family on their holiday.”
