The 'Universal Human Values and Rights Manifesto,' jointly prepared by Üsküdar Üniversitesi and Kazakhstan Astana Eurasian National University, was presented at the 'Human Values in the Modern World: Theoretical Analysis and Applications' VI. International Scientific and Applied Conference, held at Ternopil National Pedagogical University in Ukraine between May 17-18, 2024.
Within the scope of the opening speeches, Ternopil National Pedagogical University Rector Prof. Dr. Bohdan Buyak and Vice-Rector of Humanitas University in Poland, Tomasz Kuk, delivered remarks, while Prof. Dr. İlham Miraç, a Board Member of RİNAP from Üsküdar Üniversitesi, emphasized the importance of human values in today's world.
In his speech, Miraç drew attention to the 'Universal Human Values and Rights Manifesto,' prepared in partnership with Üsküdar Üniversitesi and Kazakhstan Astana Eurasian National University.

Prof. Dr. İlham Miraç used the following expressions:
'Humanity hoped the twenty-first century would herald a new era of global cooperation. However, by the end of the first quarter, we unfortunately saw that this did not happen. Racism and xenophobia, inequalities, and horrific human rights violations are rapidly increasing. In fundamental aspects, the world has turned upside down and is once again in danger. The risks cannot be underestimated as the threat is a deadly war on a global scale. Conflicts have deepened, and new dangers have emerged. Global concerns regarding nuclear weapons are at their highest level since the Cold War, and moreover, climate change is progressing significantly and rapidly. Today, without distinction of race, color, religion, language, belief, culture, or country, we want to remind everyone of the neglected values to make our generous planet more livable, just, peaceful, and sustainable.'
Global interest in the Universal Human Values and Rights Manifesto…
The Manifesto will be translated into Ukrainian and published in the conference materials. At the conference, which had approximately 200 participants, the manifesto was well-received by many universities, including Pereyaslav University and Izmail State University in Ukraine, and there was a desire to sign it.

Contribution to global peace is aimed…
Prof. Dr. İlham Miraç added that the prepared manifesto aims to contribute to global peace and justice by reminding of the importance and necessity of protecting human values in today's world.
