Two generations of the same profession met on the graduation stage

At the second graduation ceremony of Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine, young physicians received their diplomas and took their first steps into their professional lives. One of the most remarkable moments of the ceremony was the presentation of diplomas to graduates whose families included physicians, by their mothers, fathers, and siblings who are also doctors. As family members sharing the same profession came together on the graduation stage, these proud moments garnered great applause from the audience.

During the ceremony; Dr. Baver Karataş received his diploma from his father, Dr. Selahattin Karataş.

Sisters Dr. Elif Gürlek and Dr. Rümeysa Gürlek received their diplomas presented by their father, Dr. Mustafa Gürlek. The graduation of two new physicians from the same family was one of the most meaningful moments of the ceremony.

Dr. Esma Yacı received her diploma from her father, Dr. Ömer Yacı, while Dr. Gizem Girgin shared the pride of her father, Dr. Cenap Özkara.

Dr. Kaan Aşık received his diploma from his father, Dr. Mehmet Aşık.

In one of the meaningful moments where siblings united in the same profession, Dr. Mehmet Öztaş received his diploma from his elder sister, Dr. Gamze Öztaş.

Dr. Mehmet Fatih Çömez, in turn, received his diploma from his elder brother, Dr. Osman Çömez, taking his first step on his professional journey.

During the ceremony, Dr. Mert Can Şanlı also received his diploma presented by his elder brother, Asst. Prof. Mustafa Şanlı. The reunion of two physicians from the same family on stage received great applause from the audience.
