The meeting brought together Continuous Education Center (SEM) directors from universities across Turkey in Istanbul. At the meeting, held with the main theme of “The Contribution of Continuous Education to Sustainability and a Future-Oriented Roadmap,” many topics were discussed, from artificial intelligence to ethical responsibilities, education technologies to social contribution models. One of the prominent agenda items of the meeting was the necessity of maintaining the verifiability of documents issued by Continuous Education Centers through the e-Devlet system.

The TÜSEM 2025 Spring Meeting was held on May 16-17, 2025, hosted by Üsküdar Üniversitesi and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
In a special session of the meeting, attended by 30 university representatives from across Turkey, TÜSEM President Prof. Dr. Yusuf Ziya Halefoğlu's presentation titled “Atatürk and the Founding Philosophy” was met with great interest, dedicated to May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. Halefoğlu shed light on the reflections of Atatürk’s education vision in today's continuous education understanding.

Analysis with Artificial Intelligence Algorithms…
One of the striking presentations at the event, "From Data to Value: Strategic Modeling with Artificial Intelligence in Continuous Education" session, evaluated exemplary applications for developing more effective policies by analyzing SEM data with artificial intelligence algorithms.

Emphasis on Certificate Verification Process in e-Devlet
One of the prominent agenda items of the meeting was the necessity of maintaining the verifiability of documents issued by Continuous Education Centers through the e-Devlet system. Participants drew attention to the importance of continuing this application within the framework of transparency and trust principles. Furthermore, a consensus was reached that these elements should be considered in decisions made by higher authorities and that steps should be taken to make the system permanent.

The two-day program concluded with an art-filled closing, including a visit to the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture and a chamber music concert performed by students of the Istanbul State Conservatory.
30 institutions participated in the meeting, including Anadolu Üniversitesi, Atatürk Üniversitesi, Boğaziçi Üniversitesi, ODTÜ, Gazi Üniversitesi, Selçuk Üniversitesi, İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi, İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi, Fırat Üniversitesi, Trakya Üniversitesi, and TED Üniversitesi.
