Turkey's youth taking strong steps towards the future…

The 'Youth Policy Document Vision Workshop,' simultaneously organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports across Turkey, commenced with a successful event in Istanbul. The workshop, standing out as an important platform where young people can make their voices heard, develop innovative solutions, and reflect their ideas in policy processes, took shape on a scientific and social ground with the strong support of Üsküdar Üniversitesi. 

Üsküdar Üniversitesi Head of Health, Culture, and Sports (SKS) Department Özcan Demir, Young Brains Academy Director Dr. Lecturer Nebiye Yaşar, SKS International Student Relations Manager Dr. Gülcan Ayral, and the university's student club presidents made significant contributions to the workshop by initiating discussions on the visionary approaches and solution proposals of young people.

The Youth Policy Document Vision Workshop aims to transform young people's solution-oriented approaches into concrete outcomes, beyond merely providing a discussion platform. In this context, the ideas expressed have the potential to inspire policy proposals that will shape Turkey's future.

Üsküdar Üniversitesi representatives played a significant role in giving the workshop a scientific and innovative perspective. Dr. Lecturer Nebiye Yaşar, who moderated the 'Civil Society and Participation' workshop, drew attention to the potential of young people to generate solutions. Yaşar stated, “The voice of youth is the most valuable guide that will shape the future of our country. The ideas of the young people gathered here today possess a dynamism that will illuminate not only today but also tomorrow.” 

The importance of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan’s book, “Being a Conscious Young Person,” was also emphasized at the workshop.
