Turkey's Unrivaled First Forensic Scientists Are Preparing for Public Sector Positions…

Üsküdar Üniversitesi, a pioneer in every field, is marking another first in Turkey with the 2020-2021 academic year. Üsküdar Üniversitesi, which trains Turkey's first forensic scientists, is graduating its first alumni this year. Students preparing to graduate with the title of unrivaled first forensic scientists will take the KPSS on August 7-8. The graduates, recognized by YÖK and relevant ministries, will serve in various levels of the public sector.


Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy, Üsküdar Üniversitesi's Department of Forensic Sciences, which trains Turkey's first forensic scientists, is graduating its first alumni this summer after a 4-year education.

Having received comprehensive theoretical and practical training for 4 years, Turkey's first forensic scientists, following the recognition of the Department of Forensic Sciences and its graduates by YÖK and relevant ministries, are now preparing to be appointed to various levels of the public sector as the first graduates.

Emphasizing that the first forensic scientists who will take the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) on August 7-8 will be the only candidates in Turkey with this title, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Vice Rector and Director of the Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy, stated that she is happy to train the unrivaled first forensic scientists. Atasoy made the following remarks:

“Forensic scientists, with the help of their content-rich education, are candidates for numerous ministries and public sector positions, unlike other candidates. We believe that our forensic scientists, who are unrivaled in their field in terms of both their education and titles, will achieve a result that will make us all proud, and we wish all our students success from now on.” she stated.

Tarhan: “I wish success to my colleagues who will serve in the administration of justice”

Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan expressed their rightful pride in graduating the first students in forensic sciences, a critical field in the examination and evaluation of material evidence obtained during judicial and administrative investigations, the identification and proof of crime and criminals, and the administration of justice. He made the following remarks: “Our students, as the first graduates in the field of Forensic Sciences, are preparing to take on significant public sector roles in our country, unrivaled. Of course, we are justly proud of this. As Üsküdar Üniversitesi, we endeavored to train our students as good professionals, led by Professor Sevil Atasoy and our highly valuable academic and expert staff. We tried to do our best.
