Çakıcı has 14 years of research and work experience in device physics, compact modeling, electronic design automation tools, and integrated circuit design in the semiconductor industry.
Who is Assist. Prof. Dr. Rıza Tamer Çakıcı?
Assist. Prof. Dr. Rıza Tamer Çakıcı was born in Hacettepe, Ankara, in 1978, then continued his K-12 education in various parts of Turkey before coming to Istanbul to complete it.
Çakıcı ranked 1st in the university entrance exam he took in 1996. He completed his undergraduate education in 2000 at Boğaziçi Üniversitesi, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
After being accepted by the United States for an integrated doctoral program, Çakıcı completed his doctorate in 2007 at Purdue University, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in Indiana. As of the Fall semester of 2021, he left his private sector jobs and started working as an Assistant Professor Dr. in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (English) Department of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Üsküdar Üniversitesi.
In addition to the awards received by Assist. Prof. Dr. Rıza Tamer Çakıcı, he has articles published in national and international journals.
