Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Molecular Biology and Genetics department students, within the scope of the “2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program”, as the Üsküdar University TRGENMER team, achieved 100% support in 6 projects they applied for.
The aim of the project, carried out under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Cihan Taştan, was announced as encouraging university students to conduct research through projects. Cihan Taştan, referring to the supported project studies, said; “In our Transgenic Cell Technologies and Epigenetics Application and Research Center (TRGENMER), a total of 11 TUBITAK 2209 projects (including 5 currently supported TUBITAK-2209 projects), 1 Turkish Health Institutes Presidency (TÜSEB), 1 Scientific Research Projects (BAP), and 1 Sponsor-supported project are currently being worked on.”
Taştan, commenting on the program, used the expressions; “I am sincerely grateful to our Founding Rector, dear Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, dear Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk, and all our administrators, who provided us with a completely productive research opportunity and ecosystem.”
