Hosted by Koç University Hospital-KOC AIMES, the 'Koç Clinical Research Symposium' was organized with the theme 'Innovative Approaches in Clinical Research'. Dr. Cihan Taştan, General Director of Üsküdar Üniversitesi TRGENMER & NPCELLAB GMP, and Beyza Aydın, R&D Specialist, participated in the symposium, which discussed current developments in clinical research in Turkey and worldwide.

Within the scope of the symposium, new trends in clinical research in Turkey and worldwide, innovative models for academy-industry collaborations, integration of cellular therapies into clinical research, regulatory and operational approaches, and artificial intelligence applications in clinical research were discussed.

At the event, where the perspectives of Koç University, AIFD, and the Clinical Research Association were shared, sessions conducted in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic Care Network offered a comprehensive outlook on the global clinical research ecosystem.
Pioneers of the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Sector Shared Their Experiences
Furthermore, at the sessions featuring representatives from leading organizations in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector such as BioNTech, AstraZeneca, and Miltenyi Biotec, GMP-compliant production processes, the transfer of cellular therapies to clinical phases, and innovative clinical research management models were evaluated in detail.
Strategic Collaborations for the ATMP Ecosystem Continue
Üsküdar Üniversitesi TRGENMER & NPCELLAB GMP will continue its scientific, technological, and strategic collaborations with national and international stakeholders, aiming to develop advanced therapy medicinal products under GMP standards, effectively integrate them into clinical research, and strengthen the advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMP) ecosystem in Turkey.
