Asst. Prof. Cihan Taştan, Director of Üsküdar University TRGENMER (Transgenic Cell Technologies and Epigenetic Research and Application Center), and Beyza Aydın, TRGENMER R&D Officer, attended the “Cybernicx Future 2026 Summit,” where the latest developments in human biology, artificial intelligence, neurorehabilitation, and neurotechnology were discussed. During the summit, significant contacts were also made for future international research projects and technology collaborations.

The summit, held in Istanbul with international participation under the theme "The Future of Health, Intelligence, and Humanity," brought together multidisciplinary approaches evolving at the intersection of human biology, artificial intelligence, neurotechnology, stem cell technologies, regenerative medicine, and human-machine interaction.
Within the scope of the summit, scientific and clinical presentations were made across a wide spectrum, from the treatment of neurological diseases to cell and gene therapies, and from cyber medicine approaches to technological longevity applications.

Wearable robotic technologies are ushering in a new era…

At the summit, the potential of Cyberdyne wearable robotic systems, which operate with biological signals from the brain, to reactivate nervous system functions and trigger neuroplasticity when used in conjunction with Cybernicx therapy systems, was discussed. It was conveyed with scientific data that these systems have significant potential for the present and future of robotic rehabilitation in spinal cord injuries, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), paralysis and stroke, Cerebral Palsy, ALS, and other neurological diseases.

Science, technology, and health meet at the same table

Asst. Prof. Cihan Taştan began his speech by stating that they were pleased to attend the summit as invited guests. Taştan said; “At the Cybernicx Future 2026 event, our R&D Officer Beyza Aydın, together with Cansağlığı Foundation Board Members Perihan Kılınç and Tolga Büyükyazı, and with the participation of Bülent Kılınç, took part in this visionary gathering. Such platforms, shaped at the intersection of human biology, artificial intelligence, stem cell technologies, regenerative medicine, and neurotechnology, offer extremely valuable environments for R&D and international collaborations where science, technology, and health meet at the same table.”

Global scientific developments were closely monitored

Within the scope of the summit, Asst. Prof. Cihan Taştan and Beyza Aydın participated in scientific sessions held in the fields of neurotechnology, robotic rehabilitation, regenerative medicine, and stem cell technologies, closely following global developments.

Attention was drawn to the possibility of combining human and robotic systems

Speaking at the event, Japanese scientist Yoshiyuki Sankai stated that wearable robotic technologies are creating a new paradigm that brings together human biology and engineering; “Thanks to wearable technologies and applications, we can combine the human side with the robotic side.” he said.
